Our Mission
Ruffwell exists because we believe the outdoors is better with a dog beside you.
We've seen the way a dog's eyes light up when the car turns toward the trailhead. We know the particular joy of watching a four-legged best friend splash through a creek or sit beside you at a summit, panting and happy and completely in their element.
Our gear is designed to get out of the way of that joy — tough enough for real adventures, comfortable enough for all-day wear, and thoughtfully made because your dog can't tell you what's working and what isn't. So we listen to the humans who can.
We're a small team of dog people who take our dogs on too many hikes and spend too much time thinking about harness padding and clip placement. We wouldn't have it any other way.
